Wave Defense: Trappist is an isometric tower defense game with roguelike elements where you command a mech exploring the Trappist solar system searching for rare minerals. As you construct your outpost, you must balance between defending yourself against the oncoming waves of alien enemies and extracting the planet's precious riches.
Gather resources, build, mine rare minerals, and unveil new mech components and classes to gain power! Design and upgrade your mechs to fit your playstyle and make them more powerful with each run you complete. Gaining experience to unlock mech power-ups will let you shape each run to be unique, but only by permanently making your mech faster, harder, and stronger will you be able to conquer the Trappist system.
Control your mech and defend against the incoming waves of aliens attacking your base. Steer clear of enemies by sprinting, dashing, and jumping away, or charge towards them to blast them!
Design, build, and customize your mech by finding new modules. Add and remove weapons, both ranged and melee, legs for speed, or radios to call down orbital support. Add your personal touch by changing the look of your mechs, choosing your favorite colors and parts.
Explore the planets in the Trappist solar system and their unique biomes and inhabitants. Each planet has its own nature and weather.
At the start of every mission, you need to build your base. You need to prioritize between resources or defense to survive the waves and get out with the goods.
Gather the critical resources to build and upgrade your buildings and mechs. There are three critical resources: credits, fuel, and rare minerals.
Joel Mull and Nima Khak, two renowned masters of underground techno, have created a thumping soundtrack to accompany your fierce mech battles. Having previously accompanied dark dance floors across the globe, this is the first time their unique compositions and sound design are being featured in a gaming experience.
