剧情
剧情铺设和角色塑造方面我们更偏现实主义色彩一些，毕竟江湖并不会像一些小说和文学作品那样浪漫主义和光鲜亮丽，毕竟人经历过生死必定不再是从前那个少年。但就因如此，黑暗中射出的光明才更加的难能可贵。
美术
结实，硬派，肃杀感是我们这款游戏想诠释的江湖，也是我们想实现的美术风格。在角色设计上，除了要符合我们东方体系的特征，更加注重了不同角色之间的标识性与差异感，以及这个角色应该具有的气质，在我们能力范围之内，追求一种古老但不脏乱，有型但不媚俗的效果，并能与UI，动画，特效等美术资源达成高度的统一性。
游戏性
1.在战棋类游戏的基础操作模式下，《天下为棋》增强了棋盘对弈的体验，敌我对等的棋盘化战场布局，不再像一些战棋游戏每场战斗都有冗长的无用移动期，短期即可短兵相接，每回合行动点数（军令）的制约规则也提高了策略深度。

*多样的地形会造成障碍，碰撞，增益，负面等多种战场效果。
3.独特的棋子设计及玩法：
*独特的棋子机制，不同棋子角色真正意义上的差异性体验；
*每场战斗可参战的棋子角色由总上阵点数限制，各棋子角色对应上阵点数各不相同；
*大部分近战棋子角色都具备“压阵”机制，类似真正棋类的吃子占位；
*攻击命中根据棋子朝向分正，侧，背，不同朝向会造成不同的伤害效果；
*独有的角色精神值属性，类似士气，被打空会进入静默负面状态，既是合理性，也增加了玩家决策关注点；
*棋子各项属性成长对应各自的成长规则，棋子各项属性会随着战斗经历获得成长，例如：身法的成长要根据棋子闪避攻击的次数；

还有很多功能与规则散布在各环节中，但我们一直在遵循和坚持：功能与规则设计必须要在能增加玩家乐趣，快感，决策成就感，合理性嵌入感，以及针对游戏内核不跑偏的基础上，而非随心所欲，生搬硬套，为加而加。
因为毕竟是回合制，游戏的操作难度不高，但玩家因随机机制和游戏理解而产生的变数会很多，这也是我们希望看到的。
