Yet, alongside this, unidentified compounds enhance the water's effects through anomalous means, their origin and properties shrouded in mystery.
As you explore, you'll encounter a constant, minimal rippling in the water, hinting at unseen forces at play. Sound is severely altered, with noises dropping off suddenly, reverberations distorted, and speech feeling muted or dampened. The cause of these effects remains elusive, adding to the unnerving atmosphere of the Poolrooms.
