The game has

After the loss of his older brother Quang, 10-year-old Kiet retreats into the comfort of two very different video games.

During a visit to his grandparents’ house, while his family argues over something he doesn’t quite understand, Kiet immerses himself into a slice-of-life RPG about Binh, a high school librarian whose life spirals out of control after a mysterious cousin he never knew about moves to town. As Binh’s friends, family, and even his own body begin to turn against him, Kiet starts to see reflections of his own struggles in the game.

Back at home later that night, unable to sleep, Kiet discovers Quang’s old desktop computer and a first-person shooter his brother never let him play. Logging in under Quang’s account, Kiet finds his brother’s online friends still active. They mistake him for Quang and unsure of how—or if—to tell them the truth, Kiet asumes his brother’s digital identity, joining them in exploiting the game’s bugs to uncover its hidden secrets.

As the night stretches on, the lines between the virtual and the real begin to blur, drawing Kiet deeper into the computer screen’s glow and the lingering echoes of a presence he can’t quite place.
