The game has After awaking upon the steam boat of the famous, Steamboat Willie, The player is tasked with escaping by any means necessary. A task easier said than done as Willie, who was locked up for nearly 100 years, roams about the boat relentlessly hunting the player. But don't worry, you're not completely alone. There is a stranger communicating from the other side of a radio, with his help, you should have everything you need to avoid Willie, solve puzzles, and ultimately escape.
Key features:
Willie will hunt you.
Maybe Willie got good grades in highschool, or just listened closely to his “Hunting people 101” class, either way he’ll be constantly on your heels. Ensuring that you never feel quite safe while navigating the steamboat.
Willie is also a great listener! Which is great when you need someone to talk to, but not so great when Willie is hunting you with what are probably nefarious motives. Be careful what items you interact with, you’ll never know if Willie is listening or from how far.
Puzzles that will “tickle” your brain.
Throughout Willie’s steamboat, there will be various problems which will need fixing if you’re to escape.
Different “technically unique” puzzle designs will have you wondering how to go about one as opposed to the others. But don’t fret too much. We will have hints, but those are for babies… You wouldn’t happen to be a baby, would you?
Puzzles will affect the map, sometimes helping you, and other times hindering you.
Multiple endings.
You just might escape and everything might turn out peachy… Or you might not and Willie might have a better life. Who knows? Well, I guess I technically know because I made it… But you can know if you play it, and that’s pretty cool.
Some endings are because you were smart. Others because you didn’t quite fit that definition.
