Cosmic Race: Galactic Showdown is an arcade racing game that involves vehicular combat in extra-terrestrial locations. Players defeat their opponents in the biggest racing tournament of the galaxy to be the Galactic Champion! The game celebrates the fun of retro racing games through stylized visuals and synthwave music.
Get hooked into the vehicle’s responsive controls and robust physics in a refreshing gameplay experience. The combat system adds another layer of dynamics to the game. Cast special abilities to disrupt enemies, or help team-mates. Unique abilities ranging from projectiles and deployable to global AOE power-ups.
You can drive from a collection of 25 unique sci-fi vehicles inspired by the most iconic cars from the era of the 80s and 90s. They are categorized into 4 classes:
LMVs - Exceptional agility, can navigate tight spaces and dodge obstacles.
Super Cars - Unmatched top speeds for long stretches, with decent handling.

Classic Race: Traditional racing where racers complete several laps of a predetermined course. The first to cross the finish line after completing the designated laps gets the most amount of points.
Time Trials: Race against the clock to set the fastest lap time on the track. Utilize driving skills, track knowledge, and special abilities to achieve the best time individually and as a team.
Bomb Rush: Deliver bombs to safe zones while managing the countdown timer and avoiding explosions. The team with the most successful deliveries wins.
Domination: Capture and hold control zones while racing to earn points. Coordinate with your team to defend captured zones and disrupt the enemy team's efforts.
Destruction Rally: Complete as many laps as possible while causing maximum destruction to opponents. In a given time, the team with the most destruction points and completed laps wins.
Capture The Flag: Capture and deposit as many flags as possible as a collective team effort. Once the timer runs out, the team with the most amount of flags deposits wins.
Infection: one Car gets infected at the start. The racer has to Tag/touch the other car to pass the infection. Now, both cars chase other racers to infect them until all cars are infected. The last car to get infected gets the most points.
