OVERWORLD- While you explore the overworld .you will conquer top down platforming challenges and solve puzzles using the unique abilities of both Jeff and crackhead. There are many splits in the path holding secrets or traps to advance the story though you'll need to find the exit of each area. you will encounter many nonsensical monsters along the way. Running into one will start a battle.

BATTLES- Battles are time based. the speed at which you can attack is dependent on each characters speed stat.

While you wait for your chance to strike you can swap to defense mode and run freely in your dedicated area . Yellow orbs will spawn in this mode for you to collect these will speed up your timer letting you get a whack in sooner. Use your free movement to dodge oncoming attacks or charge up a parry attack. Timing is everything.

when your timer is full and you see an opportunity to land a strike. Swap to action mode with your characters dedicated button. Here you can choose to use an item, quick attack, or use one of your character special abilities. Keep an eye on your opponents timer though because you may miss or be countered if they happen to attack when you do. Once you have found crackhead you'll be able to pull of powerful combos by selecting your attacks in quick succession. Make sure your strongest move in your combo hits last for the highest damage.

after accidentally creating a portal to another world. Jeff, Crackhead and potentially the rest of the country are sucked in. Being shot out around this strange new place in not only random places but random times as well.

The game begins with Jeff appearing in a wooded area. He's rudely woken up by a strange character named jerry who vaguely explains to him what happened. With a point in the right direction and a few encounters with some odd monster Jeff heads north to find his friends and start the adventure of a life time.

Jeff and crackhead are dedicated to specific buttons for actions. Xbox controller Jeff x and y. crackhead a and b. Swap control between characters by using their dedicated buttons.

OVERWORLD- left action button will use equipped ability. Right button jumps. Use the trigger buttons to choose what ability is equipped for the character your using. Use items, change your equipment, check quest hints etc. in the pause menu.
